Workshops
During these session - a combination of nutrition, neuroscience, yoga and breath - you are offered a balance of information, engagement and reflection.
I love running these events. It’s a chance to meet like-minded humans where we can share and learn together. You’ll come away from our time together feeling more connected and positively charged, ready for your own onward growth journey.
The Glory of GABA: Finding Stillness and Calm (Online)
Discover how you can have agency over your mental and physical wellbeing. GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) is our 'off' switch. It’s our major calming neurotransmitter and sufficient levels of GABA are critical for relaxation. It also helps to improve memory and mood, relieves anxiety, and promotes sleep.
Low GABA can show up as an inability to focus or ADHD, low energy, panic attacks, and general or social anxiety disorders or phobias. It’s often what’s behind alcohol cravings too. Lifestyle and nutrition can affect GABA, as can genetics and our hormones. In this workshop we’ll discuss some of these factors and what we can do to support our GABA levels.
Supporting Dopamine Naturally (In Person)
When dopamine levels are low, you might experience decreased motivation, apathy, and difficulty concentrating. You may crave substances like sugar, nicotine, alcohol or caffeine, or you may want to engage in dopamine-boosting behaviours like shopping for stuff you don’t really need, or gambling.
Ultimately however, these behaviours and substances leave us dopamine-depleted, and so the cycle starts again.
The good news is, there are ways to boost your dopamine levels in ways that support your wellbeing.
This evening’s session is all about supporting the natural production of dopamine through nutrition, movement and breath.

The Magic of Serotonin (In Person)
Discover how you can have agency over your mental and physical wellbeing. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that’s involved in a lot more than mood. When we support the synthesis and release of serotonin, we also support, appetite control, cravings for sugar and other refined carbs, addictive behaviours, anxiety, gut health, sleep.
It really is a magical neurotransmitter, and it’s in short supply in our dopamine-chasing modern world. This workshop looks at how we can support serotonin through nutrition, movement and breath.
