Who is this session for?
If you want to make changes but you find yourself unable to start, or you’re inconsistent, or perhaps find yourself taking one step forwards and two steps back, then this session is for you.
The changes might be work-related or relationship-related, or maybe you know you need to quit an addictive substance or behaviour. Or maybe you feel you need to go to bed earlier, or exercise or meditate more regularly, or eat more vegetables or eat less rubbish…but it’s just not happening.
Understand why you self-sabotage
We all self-sabotage from time to time. They are protective patterns of behaviour that usually stem from childhood.
When we understand why we behave in the ways that we do, why we have these self-sabotaging patterns of behaviour in place, then we can meet ourselves with compassion and start to make changes.
Understand how you self-sabotage
We can have great self-sabotage strategies in place – some are obvious and we are fully aware of them, but some are so subtle and devious that we don’t even know we’re doing it.
How to take action
The first step in creating a possibility for change is a good dose of self-reflection. We don’t often give ourselves the time or space to do this.
This interactive workshop offers you that time and space. Through self-reflection and group discussions, you are given the opportunity to discover what’s behind your patterns of self-sabotage, apply self-compassion (absolutely key to breaking these cycles of behaviour) and then identify how you can take action.

I have been running online and in-person workshops and retreats on nutrition, gut health, mental health, addiction recovery and the menopause transition since 2019.
My personal history of overcoming an alcohol addiction, a nicotine addiction and binge-eating led me to have a special interest in working with people who experience anxiety, low mood, and / or addictions to alcohol or other damaging substances or behaviours, and who struggle to make lasting changes.
I’d love to see you there.
